Introducing texture:
An important milestone in a baby’s feeding development.
When? The time to do this is approximately 8 months when baby is crawling with their stomach off the floor and developing their chewing skills.
Why? While experiencing new textures, your baby learns oral motor skills – particularly moving his/her tongue side to side, mashing and chewing food together to prepare for swallowing. Each new texture is a new learning experience for baby.
Beginner Texture – The texture of this Lil’ Mixers™ product is at a Beginner level
The mixed grains & carrots are soft, blend easily in the puree, and holds together to be transferred to the side of baby’s mouth for mashing and practicing early chewing.
Mixing: You can add a little, or a lot of the mix-in for baby, depending on how many times you’ve previously introduced this or other textures, and how comfortable you anticipate baby will be. Add a lil’ or a lot!  Uso Sugerido Start with a small amount of the mix in, and increase the amount as baby appears more comfortable and begins to develop mashing, chewing, and swallowing of the texture.
Lil’ Mixers™ tubs are microwave safe. The puree can be served warmed, or at room temperature.
Heating Instructions:
Remove Foil Seal completely and discard. Keep away from child.Heat Puree on High for 15 seconds in microwaves up to 1500w.Stir.Add Mix In.Always Test Temperature (by tasting) before serving.
